THE NEW SOUTH WALES FLOODS. . rots Association-Electrio Telesraph-Conyrigl . (Received Tuesday, 9.50 a.m.) v SYDNEY, This Day. The floods in the Newcastle district are receding slowly. Some streets in Maitland are now clear, but a large area is still under water. Many people have returned to their mud-covered homes. Stanhope is a scene of desolation. All the crops have been ruined, and many cattle, pigs and fowls were drowned.
