ARCHDUKE OTTO.
AND HUNGARIAN THRONE. RUMOUR DENIED. (Received Tuesday, 10.30 a.m.) BUDAPEST, Monday. Authoritative quarters categorically deny any impending 'attempt to appoint Archduke Otto to the throne, and declare that no dynastic change is contemplated.
(A cable from Prague yesterday stated: —Following Carol’s coup in Roumania, a Socialist newspaper.-says that plans are being made for the young Archduke Otto to visit Hungary and, with the aid of thirty-five thousand Fascist officers and soldiers, be proclaimed King of Hungary. From Brussels it is reported that a number of influential Hungarians have arrived at Steennockerzeel, where Otto is living with his mother.)
