MATTHEWS AND HOOK. Mess Association- Electric Teleeraph--Copyrigh LONDON, Sunday. Apparently MattheAvs and Hook, Avho left Lympe aerodrome, on the Kent coast, early on Friday morning, in an attempt to set up a neAv record for the flight to Australia, did not realise the need for reporting themselves at foreign aerodromes. The omission explains tho lack of iicavs from Lyons till the arrival at Marseilles.

The flyers left Marseilles at 11.25 a.m. yesterday for Rome, from Avhere they have not been reported yet.
