EDUCATION BOARD.
MASTERTON WARD. MR A. WILLIAMS NOMINATED. Mr Arthur Williams, of Pownall street, has been nominated by Messrs H. H. Daniell (chairman of * the Lansdowne school committee), J. V. Gordon (chairman of the Masterton West school committee), and Major Batchelor (Whatman School), for a seat on the new Masterton Ward of the Education Board. Mr Williams has always taken a keen interest in education, and has been associated with various local institutions in this connection.
