ORCHESTRAL CONCERT.
NEXT TUESDAY EVENING-. Under the eoiuluetorship of Miss L. E. Hall, A.T.C.L., the Masterton Orchestra will give the first concert of the present season in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall on Tuesday evening next, commencing at 8 o’clock. Patrons will have pleasant recollections of the attractive faro provided at last year’s concert, and it is reported that next week’s performance will surpass the standards set on previous occasions. The orchestral items to be rendered are of wide range and, in addition, seycral vocal numbers are to be contributed by the Masterton West School Choir, Mrs J. H. Fieldhouse and Mr Henry Jones. The subject matter of the programme from start to finish is of a quality that should ensure an instantaneous and appreciative reception from the audience. As it is seldom that the residents of Masterton and district have the opportunity of a musical treat on tho lines of the one arranged for Tuesday next, there should bo a capacity house to greet the local talent contributing to the programme.
