PAHIATUA TOURNAMENT. At the Pahiatua Lawn Tennis Club’s T92S tournament the various cvjents resulted as follows: — 1 Men’s championship singles: H. N. Burns (Thorndon Club, Wellington). Ladies’ championship singles: Mrs K. Groves (Wairarapa). Men’s championship doubles: J. G. and F. D. Mackie (Woodville). Combined championship doubles: J. Cr.- Swainson and Miss Joan Swainson. Men’s handicap singles: D. Howden (Pahiatua). • Ladies’ handicap singles: Mrs Iv. Groves. Men’s handicap doubles: 11. N. Burns and C. E. Scott (Thorndon Club, Wellington). Ladies’ handicap doubles: Misses Wajker and Payne. Combined handicap doubles: Denis Coombe and Mrs J. Coombc * (Gisborne).
