N.Z. TEAM DEFEATED. MELBOURNE, Thursday. At howls, in the State teams' matches, Queensland 101 defeated New Zealand SO. Queensland 27 defeated Thomas 10; Queensland 21, defeated Clark 20; Queensland 27, defeated XJlark'&O; Queensland 27, defeated E. Hills T 9; Queensland 23, defeated Ilohday 22. At 15 ends the score was 55 all and at 20 ends Queensland 76, New Zealand 67. Hobday was in good form and gbt 13 points in the first 12 heads. ■ New Zealand finished badly after the fifteen end. Councillor Marks entertained the teams at luncheon prior to the match. MASTER-TON CLUB.
