ISth December: —Barograph 29.65; shade temperature, max. 52.6, min. 45.6; terr. 44.4; rainfall 93 points; bright sunshine 1 hour 10 minutes. 19th December: —Barograph 29.65, falling tendency; shade temperature, max. 54.6, min. 47.6, terr. 46.5; rainfall 24 points; bright sunshine 3 minutes. SOLWAY. Mr 11. M. Boddington reports that iSS points of rain 'were registered at .Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock on Sunday morning and 27 points were registered for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock this morning. WEATHER FORECAST. WELLINGTON (9 a.m. to-day).— The present indications are for westerly winds moderate or southerly freshening, southerlies later. The weather appears to be cloudy and unsettled still with scattered showers later more general. Barometer Unsteady. PHASES OF THE MOON.
