WEST END RAG. STRONG INDIGNATION. Press Association -Electric Te!egr;jj)h--Copyright,. LONDON, Thursday. The wild disorders of undergraduates in the West End has aroused the strongest indignation. It is generally agreed to have been ihe 'worst exhibitioji of iarrikinism in the West End on record. Ihe newspapers arc unsparing in their castigation, and variously _style the participants “toughs,” "hooligans'’ and “cads.” Several appeared in tin- police Courts, rin.' highest fine imposed was £5. It is reported that the actual damage runs into hundreds of pounds. Theatrical managers are resolved to take the strongest action to prevent a repetition. -Mr Harry Day has given notice of a question in the House of Commons to Mr Baldwin, who is Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University, asking that, as the I Diversity cannot control its members away from Cambridge, they should leave such disgraceful conduct to the civil authorities.
