The team to represent Victoria at the amateur athletic championships of Australasia, to be held in Wellington, has been chosen as follows: —0. J. Lane, 100 yards, 220 yards, 440 yards; A. W'atson, 120 yards and 440 yards hurdles; C. Lundquist, broad jump and decathlon; A. D. Mclntosh, shot-putting, discus and hammer throwing; E. Davidson, high jump, 120 yards and -440 yards hurdles. H. Mason (high jump champion of Australia and New Zealand and record holder), G. P. Wiseher and Corteen intend going at their own expense. G. R. Hydes, M. Kroger and WE M. Whyte, all title holders, are not available. QUEENSLANDERS ARRIVE. The Queensland team arrived in Wellington yesterday by the L limaroa. The members of the team, with the events in which they will be competing at the championships, are as follow: • L. G. Parker.—loo yards, 220 yards, 440 yards and relay. I£. In honour of the Queenslanders the W'ellington Centre, N.Z.A.A.A., is making arrangements to hold the electric light sports meeting, postponed last night, on Saturday night.
