BOY DROWNED.
IN WAIKATO RIVER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Robert Norquay (14) was drowned in the Waikato River at Rangir'iri on Sunda y. He and a younger brother, sons of Mr John Norquay, launch proprietor, went to the river bank. Robert jumped into a llat-bottomed punt and was carried out by the current. Fearing he would be swept down the stream he jumped overboard and attempted to swim to the bank but failed and was drowned while his brother looked on helpless.
