Mr Mutch, late Minister of Education, referring to Mr Lang, said: — ‘ ‘ There is no room for a dictatorship in our democracy, and no need in this fair land for the existence of a Mussolini. Neither is there any necessity for the establishment of a Soviet, an attempt towards which has been made ■by the conference dominated by the 'Communistic section. ” Mr Mutch said that he recently left the 'company of a man who did ndt know the meaning of the word courage. He is happier now than in Mr Lang’s company.
