MOTOR ACCIDENTS.

WOMEN SERIOUSLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) -NELSON, Sunday. Through being knocked down by a motor car in Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on Saturday evening, Mrs Hockley, an elderly woman, was admitted to hospital suffering from shock, head injuries and a fracture, of the left collarbone. Her condition is serious. Another elderly woman, Mrs M. A. Lamb, was knocked down in Waimea Street later in the evening by a motor cycle and sustained a fracture of the base of the skull. Her condition is also serious.
