WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Wairarapa LaAvn Tennis Association Avas' held in Carterton last night, the pdesident (Mr S. R. GaAA’ith) presiding over a full attendance of delegates. It was decided that the first round of the inter-club competitions. for the GaAvith Shield should be played by January 15tli, the second round by February sth, ' and The final by February 19th, In the event of a Avet Saturday, that day’s fixtures are to be played the folloAving Sturdily. The draw Avas arranged as 1 follows: — First Round. —Memorial Club a bye; Park v. Mnngnpakeh'a, at Park; Masterton v. Carterton, at Masterton; Martinborough a bye. Second Round. —Mart inborougli plays winner of Park v. Mangapakcha; Memorial plays winner of Masterton a\ Carterton, at Memorial. The venue of the final is to be decided at a- later meeting. The Masterton members of the Association Avore deputed to arrange Avith the Masterton Club for the use of its courts for the match Avith Hawke'S Bay 011 'Saturday, Avith the right to charge 1/- admission. Acting on th<7 conditions proposed bv the donors of tlvo Wairarapa championship challenge cups, it was decided that the trophies should remain in the custody of the secretary. Mr 11. M. Boddington Avas apiiointed manager of the inter-provincial match Avith HaAvke’s Bay. WAIRARAPA v. HAWKE’S BAY. The s’elcctors, Messrs S. R. Gaivith, R. W. Roydhousc diul .1.
