ECHO OF NEWSPAPER SALES, (Received Thursday, 5.55 a.m.) LONDON,, Wednesday. A remarkable law suit is engaging the Chancery Division. Louise Owen, who was Lord Northcliff e’s confidential secretary, and benefited under his will, is claiming that the sale of the newspaper properties! by Sir George Sutton to Lord Eothermerc oil September 20th, 1922, I’m - £1,643,000-, should be voided. Plaintiff claims that the property was really worth much, more, as is shown by the fact that Lord Kothennere sold them a year later for £5,600,000. The Inland Revenue Department is also interested in the suit, believing that the value of death duties was un-der-estimated.

Seventeen King’s' Councillors are engaged in the cake, which is additionally interesting, as plaintiff suggests a -breach of trust on the part of Sir G. Sutton and Lord Rotlierniere, who are •both iiduciarv in relation to the estate.
