Bates reports for ths twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. this day as follows: The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, and veering by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. The barometer has » falling tendency, but rising shortly. PHASES OP THE MOON, JULY.
