July 6th. —Barograph, 29.55. Shadft temperature: Maximum 57.6, minimum 42.2, terrestrial o3:8, frost —, rain 3 points, bright sunshine 6 hours. SOLWAY. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 25 points of rain were registered afe Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock this morning. The Rev. D. C. Bates reports for ths twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. this day as follows: The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, and veering by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. The barometer has » falling tendency, but rising shortly. PHASES OP THE MOON, JULY.
