MANGOLD GROWING.
BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ CLUBS. During tlie past season the Wairarapa Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Club held a mangold-growing competition under the control of the committee of representatives of the Masterton Farmers’ Union and the Masterton A. and P. Society, and the fields officers of the Department of Agriculture. During the first week of June the plots were judged and weighed, the following being the results: LANSDOWNE.
