BURGLARY IN MASTERTON.
QUANTITY OF JEWELLERY STOLEN. During the absence of Mr and Mr® Kcihana Boyes at the Pictures a £err / nights ago, their home in Casel street- f was entered, and the place ransacked. The intruders made a thorough seareltf, of every place where it was likely vJH uables may be hidden. The bed mattresses were thrown over, the linoleum* lifted, and the whole place was left in a state of disorder. Fortunately, Mr Boyes had left only a small sum off money in the house. This was taken, and included in the other articles stolen were rings and jewellery belonging; ', to Mrs Boyes, to the value of about y £25. The police are investigating the matter. ’ ‘
