BOLSHEVISM.

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —It is freely rumoured round the town that there is an attempt to be made at the Opera House to-night by a small section of individuals who do not, relish Mr Sykes taking off the gloves, to heckle that gentleman. The election so far has been fought on clean lines, and each candidate has had a fair and impartial hearing. Is this reputation which Masterton enjoys to be spoilt to-night by the Bolsheviks of th<» town? If there is any disturbance this evening, the people of Masterton will know upon whom''to lay the blame.—l am., etc.,

"FAIR PLAY." Masterton, December 16th.
