LONDON, Monday
Correspondents at Berlin state that Germany is becoming increasingly truculent. The Government, has resisted the Soviet Council's demand regarding the army control, and has re-invested in the Prussian military system of authority. The newspapers give full descriptions of the Government troops marching on Bremen, where the Spartacists have tortified tho public buildings, shipyards, and railway tracks.
The Spartacist newspapers are doubtful of the result and warn supporters to spare their effort for the final battle.
Tho leaders of the troops are determined to force the Spartacists to disarm, but will give them plenty of time to surrender peacefully.
Meanwhilo tho newspapers print, everything possible to discredit the Allies, including stories of Anglo-Ameri-can battles, and unrest in the French army. Many quarters aro hopeful that, the quarrel at tho Conference will detroy tho prospects of a world peace.
