GREATLY DETERIORATING

The surrendered German vessels at the Bcnpfi, Flow are greatly deteriorating, the Germans refusing to do 'anything that is not absolutely compulsory.

Admiral yon Renter recently signalled and asked permission to return home, but the , request was refused.

Later lie renewed the request, saying he was sick. He was then permitted to return, but lie found the conditions in Germany l»*s attractive, and returned to the Hcapa Flow.
