THE HIMITANGI WRECKED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Ail vice lias been received that the steamer Uhnitanpi was wrecked on the .Mouaa Reef, at the Chatham Islands, at l.jO a.m. to-day, while on the passage from Waitangi to Kaingaroa. The passengers and crew were saved. No particulars are available here. (The Himitangi'was a small steamer that had been trading between New Zealand and the Chatham Islands for some years past.)
