ENEMY'S MOTIVES IN CRUSHING ROUMANIA.

Basilesco said that he believed that the following are the motives for the Central Powers' attempt to crush Boumaoia Victory would mean the consolidation of German mastery froTtheNorth Sea to the Persian Gulf, the invasion of South Russiavia. Xtesarabia the control of the Black Sea, and perhaps a decisive victory irTthfl East- also securing vast Roumanian stores of corn, petroleum, benSic, mineral oils, salt, timber goods, railway systems, and Danube transport, uftnost protect thereby shortening the war and saving millions of lives and millions in money.
