The situation at Fort Vaux is unchanged. The enemy did not attempt to develop Friday night's advantage
FAILURE OF GERMAN ATTACKS.
(Received Monday, at 9.20 a.m.) PARIS, Sunday. An official message states: The enemy, after a violent bombardment, made several attempts to turn Fort Vaux from the south-east After a heavy attack at 8 o'clock last evening, from in the ravine between the fort and Damloup, the enemy gained a footing in the trenc3igs bur immediate counter attack completely repulsed the enemy. A further attack in the morning at the same point failed.
