DROWNED IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR.

John Irvine, a labourer, was drown«d in the harbour on Saturday evening. He was fishing from a dinghy anchored near tho steamer Hauroto, in company with two brothers named Lynch. The dinghy was rocked by a wave, and Irvine became, excited and stood up. The fcljlrpapsized. A lifebuoy was thrown frW' the Hauroto, and a hulk keeper hurried to their assistance in a boat. Lynch brothers, who had done their best to assist their companion, were picked up by the launch.
