To-night ;it the T. 1 ,. Kloctric Theatre ait entirely new change of pictures will be submitted. This programme includes a MOOOvt dninia by the Duskes Company, entitled '' Tho Sword of Fate.'' This is j said to be a most.sensational film, with I a very stirring plot enacted amidst J beautiful surroundings. The acting and ' effects are greatly enhanced by perfect ; photography. "The Village Vixen" is j also a masterpiece of fiction produced j by tho Kali'in Company. It is ;i special j subject featuring Miss Jane Wolf. "A ! Woman of Arizona ''•is a strong and j vigorous drama of the far AVest, por- j trayed with rare skill amidst the gran- j dour of rugged hills. "Helping John'_' j is a n-;i!!y dazzling comedy by the Edi- I son Company, rivalling the recently shown "Holding the Fort." It is also !\v Bannister Merwin. "His Life," a i/.i'oin feature, shows a man leaving home, mother and sweetheart, and pro- , p.iising not to forget nis dear ones in his ' hunt for fortune. He prospers, but prosperity brings excesses, and wine , and women become his passion. Years pass, and home is almost forgotten. One day the old scrub woman is discharged by a drunken janitor, and she becomes needy. She seeks "the man" for aid, and she finds him at a masquerade. He leaves the gay scene for a few moments, and gives her money. In doing so he notices her well-worn hands. It reminds him of his mothers withered hands and remorse takes possession of him. Quitting the orgy he rushes home, changes his clothes, and takes a train to the old home. There he finds mother and sweetheart, who receive him with open arms. There is a beautiful climax to this picture. "Betty Fools the Dear Old Dad" is a Selig comedy-drama, wherein the course of true love runs turbulent —then triumphant. This film presents Miss Gladys Wayne to picture lovers. Several pictures of interest are to be shown, including "Nautical Sports," "A Voyage to Turkey,'' "Cossacks of the Ural Country," ami "Pathe's Gazette." The comedies arc an exceptional lot, and include, "Kube's Mistake," "What a Time, ,, and "Mr Fatty Has Good Lungs."'l This is a very fine selection of pictures, and should draw large houses. Last night a benefit performance was given in aid of the Senior- Cadet Prize Fund, when, despite the., inclemency of the weather, a large crowd of people were - present.
