WOMEN ON JURIES

Prets Aisociation—Electric Telegraph—Copyrigi,. WASHINGTON, Tuesday. A debate in the Colorado State Legislature making women liable to serve on juries, raised an uproar. Senator Williams attacked the proposal as immoral.

He said that he would hate to see his wife and daughter compelled to listen to criminal cases or locked in a jury room With male jurors for several nights.

The women suffragists resent Seuat or Williams' statements.
