Press Association—Electric Teleorraptj—Copyright. (Received Wednesday, at 11.10 a.m.) lIOBART, Wednesday. In connection with the Queenborough cemetery scandal, S. Luckman was fined £5 for removing a body from a grave. The decision was reserved in a second charge of a similar nature.
hi the latter case, George Young, a grave-digger, gave evidence that Luckma a instructed him to removed two bodies, as they were only Quakers. Luekmau repeatedly said: "Know nothing, see nothing, and hear nothing." Witness said he cut through many bodies in order to make the graves deep enough. ' His wife helped to carry the coflins because Luckman would not assist. Inspector Wadsworth said he had seen a coffin bearing signs of having been burned, and others were found on a rubbish heap. One grave was opened, and three coflins were found instead of five.
