SEVERAL BUILDINGS DESTROYED

Press- Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Monday, at 9.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, Monday. A large hall, six shops and two dwellings at Wanthaggi were destroyed by fire. The origin of the outbreak is not known.

A more serious outbreak occurred at Willaura where there was no firefighting apparatus.

Twelve shops, constituting half the business portion of the town were destroyed.
