GENEROUS DONATIONS.

TO A. AND P. ASSOCIATION

Mr E. Harper stated at the meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association on Saturday afternoon that Messrs Ogilvy Bros., of Masterton, had informed him that they would provide a bullock for the weight-guessing competition, and see that it was killed at the proper time. It was decided to accord Messrs Ogilvy Bros, a hearty vote of thanks for their generous oiler. Hearty votes of thanks were also accorded to Messrs W. E. Bidwill (Rototawai) and H. Toogood (Kohiwai) for donations of £10 and £2 respectively to the funds of the Association Mr G. E. Allen, Tipua, Mastertou, donated £2 2s to the funds of the Association. Mr F. Moore, of llai-Iwi, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his rcse bowl which is to be awarded as a points prize in the fat cattlo classes.
