STOCK FAIR.

SUBSTANTIAL CONTRIBUTION

A letter was received at the meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association ou Saturday afternoon last from Mr W. B. Allen, of Clareville, suggesting that the Association should hold another stock fair, and offering his Romney Marsh ram, "Successful Candidate," to the Association to be sold at the Fair, the proceeds to go to the funds of the Association.

Mr Murrison (chairman) stated that as it was two or three years ago since the last stock fair had been held, it was now probably an opportune time to hold another one.

It was decided to discuss the matter at the. next meeting of the Committee, and to thank Mr Allen for his generous contribution to the fair.
