At the meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association ou Saturday afternoon, Mr D. McGregor, junr., a member of the sub-committee appointed to go into the question of securing new rooms for the Association, reported that the sub-committee had interviewed the trustees of the Perry Estate in regard to obtaining rooms next door, in the old Commercial aud Farmers' Club, in which to conduct the business of the Association. It had beeu decided to take a live years' lease of the old billiard-room and two rooms at the hack, the rental to be £<i 0 per annum. The trustees had agreed to widen the stairway, paper and put the rooms in good order, and provide a strong-room. The Association paid £15 per annum for their present rooms, and for an expenditure of an additional £15 per annum every comfort and convenience could be obtained. There would be a spacious meeting-room in the building, and also a room where farmers could talk over private matters. The trustees had agreed to cancel the present lease with the Association.
