FOOTBALL.
The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Referees' Association was held at Carterton on Saturday evening, Mi* A. B. Charters (President) in the chair. The following officers for the ensuing year were elected:—President, Mr E. McKenzie; Vice-President, Mr C. J. Beard; Secretary aud Treasurer, Mr J. M. Nicholls; Appointmeut Committee, Messrs E. McKenzie,' A. B. Charters, C. J. Beard .and J: M. Nicholls. Mr Charters was'uou-iuated as a Vice-President of the N.Z. Referees' Association. The appointment of a delegate to the annual con ference at Auckland was held over.
