Early this morning the police were informed that a man had been found on the railway line at Totara Station, literally cut to pieces. A casual acquaintance of deceased stated that he was a native of Rockhampton, Queensland, and was named Thomas Walsh. He had been working in the district as a farm labourer, and 'left .yesterday to take work at potato digging. - He arrived, at his destination safely, but how he got on to the rails subsequently is a mystery. Several trains must have passed over the body.
