A Spirit of Revolt. (Received To-day, at 12.15 a.m.) Capetown, July 5. Two thousand Dutchmen attended the meeting at Heidelberg. The Standard's correspondent sajs that General Botha'3 tone was aggressively hostile. Ho complained that the amnesty pledges had not been fulfilled. The Taal, he said, was treated as a foreign language Boer teachers ought to conduct the education of the Boers. Dutchmen, ho further declared, must bo allowed to retain their land. Tho Moderates regard the meeting as the initiation of a highly dangerous movement.
