FATAL ACCIDENT.
(By Tekqraph—Press Association), Dukedih, December 18, George Slater, 25 years of age, was killed at Macrao's, Central Otago, yesterday, Three of tbe horses from a waggon were startled while' at a water trough and bolted towards the waggon, The deceased was holding one of tbe horses in the waggon lest it should take fright when one of tbe loose horses collided witb him and knocked him down, When he Ml, it is supposed bis bead came in c ■■ tact with a stone, He died half an hour afterwards.
