A boy, three years of age, wandered ]away from his parents iu the Uotanio Gardens, on New Year's Uay. Though the child was only away a few minutes, when search was mado no trace could be found of him. It was presumed that he had followed some oilier children. This morning, a resident of Leith street, attracted by a cry, searched the bush, and found the boy sitting behind ii tree. The little fellow, after being out three whole nights and two days and a-half, was found to be very weak. He had only one shoe on, and that bad to be cut away, as the foot was badly swollen, Medical men think the little fellow will soou be all right again.
