From On/' Own Correspondent. Monday. Tho Wesleyan Church liavo decided to hold sixpenny mcnts ovory other Monday evening™ so as not to clash with the St. Luke a Cburch Bixponnyconcerts. The first of the series takes place to night, tho programme will be provided entirely by Masterton talent. A wedding was to have been celebrated at St. Luke's Church last Saturday afternoon. The bridesmaids, frionds, officiating clergyman, and .bride and bridegroom were present, but at the last mornont it was found that a mistake had been made in the marriage certificate, and the most unfortunate part of the pioceedings was that tho marriage had to be postponed (as it was too late to get the certificate) much to the disappointment of all the parties concerned.

The weather is still very unsettled, and colds are prevalent in all parts of the District, T|ie Blind held a danoe last Friday evening, which was fairly well attended, The proceeds will help t<w|t. augment the funds of the Masqueradi^Pr
