THE Committee for managing the affairs of tho Proposed New Hall, beg to inform the public generally that the promoters of this object, seeing for a lung timo past tho great necessity which has existed, and which still exists, for such a building at this end of tho Borough, have, after careful consideration and a meeting on tho subject, determined if possiblo to erect it for tho many uses for which it is likely 'to bo required, viz., tho consideration of all local matters, holding of Religions Services, Sunday Schools, and Public Entertainments. With these views before them, it has been proposed. to erect the said Hall by VOLUNTARY SUBSCRIPTIONS od Freehold Land, already secured.
