Mrs Gurr and their family, to express my tull sympathy with the object and feelings of the meeting. I should not, however, have troubled you for this purpose only, but that I wish to suggest to the members of the Anglican Church at Featherston that some exhibition of gratitude should be made by them (and which I here beg to make personally) to Mr Gurr, oil his departure, for his unwearying and zealous devotion to his duties as lay-reader in. the Church. : •■;• I.write in ignorance as to whether any movement of the kind has been already made.
