This case arose out of a nice little neighbora' quarrel, and resulted in defendant being fined Bs and each party king bound over to keep the peace, R, H. Maniliera v, E, H. Mr Bunny for plaintiff, \ Mr Beard for defendant, This was a case V in which it was alleged that plaintiff took seme cattle to Waihenga to impound (hem and that defendant, from his words md actions, led the plaintiff to believe he was the poundkeeper, Plaintiff left the cattle in bis charge, and they were the next day liberated by defendant, When plaintiff applied for the fees of trespass . told him he was not the and refused to pay the money. AW- two adjournments the Court'this day gave judgment for the plaintiff for the amount and costs. GREYTOWN, OCT. 21, - (Before H. S. Wardell, Esq., R.M., and S. Revans, Esq., J,P.) R, Morphy v. 0, Nistre—Cruelty to animals, Fined 203 and costs. F. H. Wood v. I. R. Hebley—Larceny of a small quantity of hay of the value of 3d, Dismissed under section 86 Justice of the Peace Act, and ordered to pay the value of the hay and costs. W. J. Salmon v. Janscn—Abusive language. Dismissed on defendant paying costs. Constable Willoughby v, F. Page— Yagrancy. Imprisoned for 14 days. There were a few civil cases in which the summonses were not served,
