On Monday evening the local school Committee at Featheraton made a presentation of an address and purse of sovereigns to the their teacher, Mr Gnrr, The Chairman, in addressing Mr Gurr, said that the local Committee and parents generally luul much pleasure in recognizing the tact and energy which he had thrown into his work. He could look back some four years when the school numbered some forty scholars assembledavery small room, and were taught in a very inefficient manner. We therefore beg your acceptance of the accompaning token of ■ our esteem, and sincerely hope that you may long continue to benefit our district by remaining headmaster of our school.
