TOUR OF BRITAIN. (Ptr Fl’ess Association—Copyright.) LONDON, December 15. Mr Coates describes his Irish visit u most enjoyable. It included on Friday a stay at the Vice-Reyal Lodge at Dublin, then lunch as the guest of Mr Desmond Fitzgerald (Alinister of External Affairs). The presentation of the honorary Doctorate of Laws at Trinity College followed, the students cheering him through’ the grounds. Later. Mr arid Mrs Coates were the guests of the Hon. W. F. Cosgravc (President of the Executive Council) after a tour of inspection of the Gove rnme nt Bu ild i ngs. On Saturday they visited Belfast, where they were met not only by Sir James and Lady Craig, but by Mr Coates’s uncle, Mr William Coates. On Sunday the party accompanied Sir Janies and Lady Craig and Cabinet members, in a special train to Londonderry, after which they were the guests of Sir James Craig at a dinner party at Belfast. Mrs Coates has thoroughly recovered from her recent indisposition.
