THE GALES ALONG THE EAST COAST
Timaru, Nov 4 The fishermen blown out to sea by tbe gale yeßterday, for whose safety the greatest anxiety was felfc last night, returned to the harbour to-day none the worse for their adventure. They found shelter under a big bank 30 miles up the coast and waited there for bbc wind to abate. They spent fc'ie whole night zig zagging dawn the coast. Christchdkoh, Nov 4 A fisherman named Lindwall reported at Little Akaloa tha c < he had suddenly lost sight of a fishing boat that was following dim. Subsequent enquiries re« vealed the fact tbat a Lyttelfcon fisherman named Skelton went oat in a boat on Monday, and as he has not^as yet returned he worat is feared.
