THE GLENBROOK MYSTERY
[Per United Press Association.] Sydney, Dec. 5. The work of exhuming Preston's body began ;yes.terday morning. It lay ,on its 1 'ba<*k with the head turned to the left side and the legs drawn up out of shape.* The left arm was crushed under the side, the right arm passed behind the back. The general appearance showed that, the grave was too small and the abdomen had been pressed by a weight, probably of a body, so as to cram it into the space. The body was fearfully crushed and much decom. posed, but a friend of Preston's completely established the identification .The whole surroundings were most pitiful. The bcdy was placed in a coffin and taken to Penrith for inquest. The post mortem showed death WAS due to a gunshQt wound in the brain, in addition to which were two fractures of the skull. A map, said to resemble .Putler, ha,s,b,een ar rested at Port Macquarrie.
