HOLIDAY EXCURSIONISTS.
Ddnedin, December 26. By the Christchurch express train, on Saturday night, over 500 people arrived ; by Invercargill, 420; of these 450 had excursion tickets. On Saturday morning 200 went north, with excursion tickets, 130 went to the Lakes, and, in the evening, 130 went to Christchurch. This morning, another large batch of excursionists went to the Lakes.
