EVANS AND HANSEN'S SWEEP On the Champion Stakes. PURSUANT to Advertisement, the XT Committee who superintended the Drawing, met at Hansen's Post Office Hotel on MONDAY EVENING, the 14th inst. Present— AU the Members except Mr Dixon. The following resolutions were unanimously agreed to : — Resolved, " That in consequence of the mistakes made at the first drawing, and considering that the holders of the winning numbers in the first drawing are as equally entitled to receive the prize money, as the holders of the prize tickets in the second drawing, we are unanimously of opinion that the most satisfactory way to settle the matter is to drew the Sweep over again." Resolved, " That this resolution be advertised in the local journals, and that the drawing take place on Saturday evening, the 26th inst." James Pireie, Chairman. Resolved, " That in consequence of the mistakes made at the former Drawing of this Sweep, and considering that the holders of the winning horses in the first drawing are as equally entitled to receive the prize-money as the holders of the prize-tickets in the second drawing, we are unanimously of opinion that the most satisfactory way to decide the matter is to draw the Sweep over again."
