Dunedin", January 10.

At the Supreme Court this morning, Jane Galloway, charged with perjury, was discharged, there not being sufficient evidence for the prosecution. The Crown Prosecutor will enter a nolle prosegui in the case of George Jones for libel. The case is fixed for the 7th or 11th of March. The Judge asked about Proudfoot's case, and the Crown Prosecutor said he was waiting for instructions from Wellington. The criminal sitting is adjourned until Monday next.
