RATES OF POSTAGE.

TOWN DFLIVEEY. Every morning (Sundays execpted) at past ten. Every afternoon (Sundays except cd) at half-past two. LETTERS. Town Lktters.— Posted at any Post Office within the Colony, for delivery at such Post Office : Not exceeding one half ounce, Id ; over half ounce, but under one ounce, 2d ; every additional half ounce or fraction of half ounce, Id. County Lettkrs.— Posted at any Post Office within the Colony for delivery at any other Post Office in the same or neighboring Provinces : Not exceeding one half ounce, 2cl ; over half ounce, but under one ounce, 4d ; every additional half ounce, or fraction of half ounce, 2d. Intercolonial Letters.— For Victoria, South Australia, New South "Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, and Tasmania: Not exceeding one half ounce, 3d ; over half ounce, but under one ounce, 6d ; every additional half ounce or fraction of hah ounce, 3d. English Letters. — For Great Britain, via Suez and Southampton : Not exceeding one half ounce, 6tl ; over half ounce, but under one ounce, Is : every additional half ounce or fraction of half ounce, Od. For Great Britain, /via Suez and Marseilles : Not exceeding one half-ounce, lOd ; over hall ounce, but 'under one ounce, Is 8d ; every additional half ounce or fraction of half ounce lOd.
