WANGANUI SEVENTH SUNNIEST CENTRE IN OCTOBER
WELLINGTON, Last Night (OC).— Ten places in New Zealand recorded more than 200 hours of sunshine during October, and Wanganui was seventh on the list with 205.6 hours, states the Climatological table published in tonight’s Gazette. Nelson, with 241 hours, was well ahead of any other district where records were obtained for the month, with Hokitika and Westport its nearest competitors. Only three places in the North Island pased the 200-hour mark — Wanganui, followed by Palmerston North and Wallaceville.
